In every truth that you'd deny

    Bilakah Damai

    Mentari menangis di senja memerah
    Bumi anbia menjadi padang jarak
    Puing-puing runtuhan berserakan
Asap senjata dan hanyir darah menyesak dada

    Tubuh-tubuh layu gugur bergelimpangan
    Bertindih dalam kubur tanpa bernisan
Di hujung sana ramai yang kelaparan
    Di dera wabak yang menyiksakan

    Anak kecil bertanya bimbang
    Wajahnya mencerminkan kedukaan
    Mengapa lena ibu terlalu panjang?
    Bilakah pula ayah akan pulang?

    Dia yang tak mengerti apa
    Menjadi mangsa pembantaian
    Suara tangis menjadi syair sendu
    Menyayat dan menyiat perasaan

    Bilakan berhenti kekejaman?
    Bilakan terhapus penindasan?
    Kemana hilangnya kemanusiaan?
    Bilakan damai akan menjelang?

    Entah bila akan pulih keharmonian?
    Sampai bila bersilih penderitaan?
    Bila pula akan muncul ketenangan?
    Soalan yang masih tiada jawapan

    How would you feel...

to wake up every morning worrying if your family is still intact?

    How would you react

to see your own brother or sister lying dead in front of you, another victim of a cold-blooded murder

    What would you do

as you watch a father cradling the lifeless body of his child, his own face a mixture of anguish and hatred

    What can you say

to the man who picked up the the pieces of rocks and attempted to throw it at the opposition soldiers, knowing that their retaliation will mean the end of him

to the man who had lost everything, yet he fought on, attacking the soldiers with whatever he had at hand, be it rocks or otherwise.

For we had always been wrong.

    They hadn't lost everything.

They still had their faith burning strong within them

Look into each of their eyes and you will see a shine, a sliver of hope within all the anguish and darkness

A ray of hope brought forth by their strength in faith

For decades they have been in turmoil

    For decades thousands have fallen

But yet, as God Wills it

the vanguard have yet to fall

    One day, it'll be over

One day, when the time comes

InsyaAllah I will join you, my bretheren in answering the call

They do not want nor need your pity

What they need is your prayers

Going on with your life normally and only thinking about them when you heard the news or something is not enough

    Remind yourselves.

    They are fighting OUR WAR

    The vanguard is faltering

    But InsyaAllah

    It will not fall.

    NEVER FORGET
    PALESTINE

If ye do good, ye do good for your own souls, and if ye do evil, it is for them (in like manner). So, when the time for the second (of the judgments) came (We roused against you others of Our slaves) to ravage you, and to enter the Temple even as they entered it the first time, and to lay waste all that they conquered with an utter wasting.

    -[Yunus 17:7]
