In every truth that you'd deny
And each regret and each goodbye
was a mistake too great to hide

Tuhan dulu pernah aku menagih simpati
Kepada manusia yang alpa jua buta
    Lalu terheretlah aku dilorong gelisah
Luka hati yang berdarah kini jadi parah

    Semalam sudah sampai kepenghujungnya
Kisah seribu duka ku harap sudah berlalu
    Tak ingin lagi kuulangi kembali
    Gerak dosa yang menhiris hati

    Tuhan, dosaku menggunung tinggi
    Tapi rahmat-Mu melangit luas
    Harga selautan syukurku
    Hanyalah setitis nikmat-Mu di bumi

    Tuhan walau taubat sering kumungkir
    Namun pengampunan-Mu tak pernah bertepi
    Bila selangkah kurapat pada-Mu
    Seribu langkah Kau rapat padaku

Yesterday was the last day of Kem Xplore over at Ghufran.
Was fun but extremely tiring at the same time for me

Last Saturday till Monday was at KL. Didnt slept a wink there.
Came back to Singapore and immediately received a call from Faan asking me if I want to help out in the camp. Normally, considering the state of fatigue I'm in, I would've declined, but somehow, I just said okie, I'll help out.

So slept a while before waking up at 5 a.m . Yes, I have to wake up that early and take the first train. Jurong to Tampines issn't near la sey.

But seriously, tak sia-sia I went for it. The kids were great and I think I got the most hyperactive bunch of kids ever. Dah la tak tau duduk diam, mulut pun tak tau diam.

I swear, I don't think I was THAT hyper last time. Yes, I was a cute, quiet, good little boy. Somehow, something gone wrong along the way and I became like this. Don't worry, cute tetap cute jgak.

    KIEEEEE ,MOVING ON

What can I say about the camp?

--> Programme was wonderfully exact. Cock-ups, if there were any, clearly issn't visible though I think there is cause sometimes some of the programmers have this "shit-ada-cock-up" look on their faces (nak tau how it looks like, nanti time berak, take a pic of yourself time meneran).
Yes, I know that because I was a programmer too. The only reason why you don't see my face like that is because I was too busy helping logistics to really worry about the programme

--> Being a facilitator for kids is very different from being a facilitator for poly students. During the first day, I tried to employ the same tactic as I did when I was faci for Kem Ilusi. It failed miserably when they saw my leniency as a weakness they could exploit and I could not find a way to channel their hyperness. I came to a realisation that what those kids need is not a guide, but a leader. Its true that a faci GUIDES but not LEAD. But that saying is only true to a certain extent. For these kids, they need a leader. Simply because they're still young and not yet matured. You can't expect them to really have the initiative to do what you expect them to do without telling them first. They look up to you as a leader, to lead them , to tell and show them what to do. Thats how kids learn, by imitating.

--> I learnt from Ustaz Faan during his nightime lecture that cinta tu ibarat watermelon. Nak tau kenapa? Because bila cinta satu orang, you get the whole watermelon.

--> Best joke of the camp:

Muz: Yan, kau dgn Faan born 1989 kan?
Me and Faan: ah ah, knaper?
Muz: Wahh best eh, korang dapat jgak nikmati zaman 80s. Tak mcm aku, lambat setahun

--> Fityan Ghufran people are nice people. Take for example, my partner facilitator, Syafiq. He's one of the Bilal for Masjid Ghufran so I expected him to be very conservative at first. But after awhile of getting to know him, oh sungguh salah ku sangkakn. Cool guy to be with, and alot more within him. heh. Aku doakan kau dapat sakinah dari Allah S.W.T yer Fiq. AHAHAHAHAHHA

All in all, it was a wonderful event. Its been so long since I last became a facilitator. And also a long time since I last been in a event an its not an event which I have a hand in organising.

I liked the Bukit Timah hike most. Mainly is because its my first time there, after missing out on the last Nurdeen-SPSC hike. Although we did get lost when going down, I don't mind one bit because of..ermm..company. Kie just leave it at that. pfftt

    In other words...

A great big THANKS towards Fityan Ghufran for giving me the chance to be involved in this camp!

especially to a certain programmer. heee
